View from Rm 5, the second floor twin, of the one-time railway station. It was intended as the headquarters of the line running from Manchester to Milford Haven, but finance ran out. Our nearest railway station is Caersws, with regular connections to Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and Birmingham. Dr Beeching's investigation in 1963 put an end to the Llanidloes service.
Last minute enquiries
We generally download and respond to emails mid-to-late morning each day (but when the restaurant is particularly busy may have to skip a day). Therefore if you are enquiring for a booking in the next day or so, please telephone rather than email. If your call comes in the midst of breakfast or dinner service, we may have to ask for your number in order to call you back when the pressure has eased.
Cancellations
If you have to cancel your booking, do please telephone (rather than email) as soon as possible, to maximise the opportunity to relet the accommodation.
