Lovely peaceful stay in the country

Pros: Excellent location, peaceful and quiet out in the country, central for all the places we wanted to visit. Lovely friendly hosts and a large private garden area at the back, got a visit from a young fox on the first night. The barn was self catering and had a lovely large dining kitchen. The rooms were an excellent size and it was a home from home.

Cons: The mattress on the double bed was a little uncomfortable for us but that is personal preference, other than that could not fault the accommodation or the hosts.

Beautiful little gem

Pros: Long barn is fantastic, has everything you need. Lovely and tranquil. Gorgeous views from the garden. Owners are easy to communicate with and respectful of privacy.

Pros: This is a large apartment detached from the owners' house in an extremely quiet setting. Well equipped kitchen. Parking immediately outside front door. Owners were friendly and gave clear instructions about access etc.

Cons: The apartment needs a bit of a refresh to improve comfort - mattresses, sofas. Floor rugs need replacing. Bathroom was clean but shower was disappointing. With a limited amount of investment, this could become a really good place for a few days' stay.

Highly recommended.

Pros: The location is beautiful, fabulous views and very quiet. The Long Barn is very well finished with comfortable furniture, a well equipped kitchen. Lovely hosts... what more could you ask for.
