Rooftops

Brilliant! Loved the flat loads and Hay-on-Wye is a fun little town.

Pros: A very central and convenient location. The flat was GORGEOUS. Really loved the decor. On a very quiet street with no traffic going by. Lovely views out of the windows. Easy to go and buy food to eat. The atmosphere of the flat was very relaxing - really didn't want to go home. The flat felt plush and the general finish on everything was neat and professional. The flat was very clean and it felt very well cared for. I will most likely book it again at some future point, and this is somebody who doesn't really like repeating holidays. Possibly one of the best places I've ever stayed. Also I have allergies and the owners were very accommodating and attentive in this regard.

Cons: My bedroom had secondary glazing which made it nice and cosy. This is really a very minor point but I think secondary glazing in the main living area would keep the owner's fuel bills lower and make it cosier for winter stays like mine as it was slightly colder when sitting near the windows. Other than that I really couldn't fault it. I'm only pointing this out as I'm a bit of a greeny who cares about fuel efficiency!!!

A real gem.

Pros: Rooftops has been an exceptional experience. The flat is immaculately presented and I love the mid-century modern vibe. The bathroom and kitchen are very well equipped and sparkling clean. The bed is spacious and very comfortable. Rooftops is the perfect base for exploring Hay-on-Wye on foot as literally everything I need is on the doorstep.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Pros: Great location right in the centre, the lack of parking wasn't an issue as the carparks were very nearby. Lovely and warm in the apartment, which was great. The apartment was also very well equipped so easy & pleasurable to make a meal. Ben was responsive & quickly sorted out our questions about rubbish & recycling. Late check-out also made our departure very relaxing.

Cons: The communal shared area was slightly scruffy compared to the inside of the apartment itself. This wasn't a major problem though.

Pros: This is a beautiful apartment situated in the heart of the old part of Hay-on-Wye. It is within walking distance of all the old city. I do recommend it.

Pros: Flat is super clean and very comfortable, well appointed, fantastic location and Ben was very responsive and easy to deal with.

Pros: Lovely flat, spacious, and very tastefully decorated.. Excellent kitchen. The apartment was located in the centre of Hay on Wye.We really enjoyed staying there There was a problem with the hot water when we arrived, but this was fixed by Ben the following morning. He was more than helpful. Would highly recommend Rooftops for a stay.

Lovely little apartment and great location

Pros: Location is amazing Apartment is well furnished Rooftops is a perfect name for the apartment - gorgeous view from every window.

Cons: Need to park in public carpark and pay for the day before 8am. The car park isn't that far away though amd not very expensive.

Lovely accommodation and thoughtful host

Pros: Host thought of everything. Was very kind in communication. Location is very close to markets. Short walking distance from Hereford bus. Short walking distance to shops, restaurants and footpaths. Kitchen is well stocked with gas hob, fridge, cooking gear and tableware. Excellent food shops close by. Host set up the bedroom as a twin room for us. Very comfortable beds. Lovely tub in addition to separate shower.
