Carol Anns Caravan

Peaceful and comfortable stay.

Pros: Carol Ann and her partner were so nice and friendly and could not have been more helpful. The Caravan was really comfortable and surroundings so peaceful. Our 2 and 5 year old slept so well, which says it all really. We only stayed for one night as a stop over but could have definitely stayed longer. It is a perfect place to unwind. We really enjoyed the fire pit and watching the shooting stars once the kids went to bed.

Cons: I couldn't fault the stay. It was perfect.

Pros: Booked a night away from the kids for Husbands birthday with his best mate and partner. Property had everything we needed,fire pit hire was an added bonus. Totaly off the grid,peace and tranquility! Smoking is aloud outside the caravan if your respectful with your nubs! Can't wait to rebook for another night to unwind. Highly recomeneded.

The perfect location for a relaxing weekend in the countryside!

Pros: Absolutely loved the location, being in the middle of nature, and the caravan was equipped with everything we needed. Loved sitting outside til the early hours with the fire pit

Cons: The road from the village to the property is a single lane track and a bit tricky to negotiate but driven slowly it’s fine and absolutely worth it when you get to the caravan

Relaxing, comfy with stunning views

Pros: We had a lovely one-night stay in the caravan with my partner, our 13-year-old twins, and our dog. The owners were incredibly welcoming and polite, we even met the whole family, who were all just as lovely. The idea was to relax, go on some walks, and soak in the incredible views, and that’s exactly what we did. The setting was peaceful, and the lambs on the land were surprisingly entertaining! I’d definitely stay again, but next time I think it’ll just be me and the dog. I’m already looking forward to a quiet night away, glass of wine in hand, book in my lap, and those stunning views to enjoy.

Cons: Nothing to complain about

So good I stayed for two more days!

Pros: Everything, I did these three nights and booked to stay on for another two! Will definitely be going again.

Perfect secluded family trip in stunning scenery.

Pros: The caravan is well set up, very comfortable, and Carol Ann and Andrew couldn’t have possibly been better hosts. The views are stunning and there are loads of gorgeous walks. I highly recommend taking a short drive to Pontesford and walking to the summit of Pontesford hill. I originally booked for three nights but loved it so much I booked an extra two nights. The Mytton Arms pub at the bottom of the hill is lovely, and the food van does brilliant fish and chips, burgers, and ribs. I will definitely be booking to go again when I can.

Cons: Nothing to say about this at all, can’t fault it.

Awesome caravan experience with stunning views close to the nature..

Pros: Stunning views and great service by the host. You will definitely want to come again.. Caravan was very comfy and has all the facilities you need. Ideal place for a getaway from the busy life. One of the best mountain caravan view. We did get ok mobile reception in the mobile phone and was able to connect to the internet (especially if you have three mobile. Vodafone has no signals). Awesome experience... Highly recommended to visit here in a good clear day..

Impressive, hospitality location and stay

Pros: Location was magical, communications were impressive and couldn't have felt more welcome and comfortable. Don't let staying in a caravan put you off, the caravan had everything and more, we literally felt on top of the world. I wish I could have stayed for longer. Our arrival time was in the dark, where a special effort to settle us in was made , even so late, it was very much appreciated.

Cons: The road-up doesn't do your suspension for your vehicle the world of good but was so worth it!

Pros: Caravan was immaculate and had everything needed, hosts were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us even fetching us a curry on the evening due to secluded location which I thought was just lovely of them…. Looking forward to going back in the spring

Cons: Not the hosts fault but the road leading up to the property needs work but would not put us off going back

A perfect escape break from the world!

Pros: Secluded, just as described, sun rise right out side your window. Cozy, warm. Everything we needed. Honestly can’t complain a bit. Hosting family are gorgeous, down to earth, doesn’t pester you but is available if she’s needed. I personally enjoyed a chin wag. Carol Ann also included us in her families curry night, it was just beautiful of her to do. I can’t wait to go again, such a great find! Thank you for making our girls night perfect!! Batteries recharged and 2 well rested mommas. Recommending absolutely everyone goes here. Plus the cows made me very happy!!

Cons: The potholes. But if you choose to stay on a farm you have to expect a wonky road, muddy and potholes. not the hosts fault, just a teeny dislike. The road doesn’t belong to the host. Please don’t let this sway you, it’s worth it
