Fantastic stay, would go again

Pros: Beautiful location, Lovely ladies who own the place, graciously welcomed. Cosy and warm little place. Was given some recommendations of places to eat or visit, I went to the local shop which was really well stocked and a large range of items, the fish and chip shop was super tasty and not bad on price either.

Cons: There were only two things really and they were unique to me. As someone with neurodivergence and chronic illnesses the lighting at night on the short walk up to the cabin could be improved. The shower is quite small, and although the pressure was very good and it was a shower that could have multiple settings over head square etc. The temperature was either scolding or freezing and for me personally I felt chlostrophobic inside and couldn't stay in long, ended up having a small anxiety attack.

Beautiful, cosy, great value for money

Pros: Gorgeous little hut! Surrounded by nothing but open fields and sheep. Great value for money and good location to lots of bucket list places in Wales. The only thing it didn’t have was a stove, luckily I had a portable one in my car. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again x

I loved staying at the Shepherds hut, it was everything I expected and better.

Pros: The location was wonderful. The hut was cosy and comfortable. The Hot Tub was a smashing. It had everything I needed including WiFi, and watching the swallows was stunning.

Cons: There wasnt any where to dry clothes/ hang clothes. I felt bad leaving wet towels.

Great spot for exploring eg Powis Castle, Elan Dams, Aberystwyth, Machynlleth, Llanidloes etc

Pros: The hostess was delightful and welcomed us with a bottle of fizzy and chocs! Lovely views; hot tub good; shower good; microwave and air fryer good.

Stayed for a short break and was perfect

Pros: Clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you could need. Great hosts and excellent value for money. Definitely worth a stay.

We loved our stay and totally fell in love with North Wales

Pros: The location was so peaceful, the views where stunning, we enjoyed the fire pit

Cons: The fridge was noisy and kept coming on during the night, im a light sleeper so was annoying, and there where a lot of flies which is to be expected in the rural setting

Amazing area. Very quiet I would stay again.

Pros: We like the quiet area as we live in a loud city it was nice and important for us to get some peace and that we did. The jacuzzi was beautiful and allowed us to completely give in and relax completely.

Cons: We didn't like the wood lice being everywhere even in pots. We also did not like the mould in the shower room. But overall the place was nice.
