Y Cwtch - Panoramic mountain views within Snowdonia's National Park - 4x4 only

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage. Perfect getaway for a quiet break.

Pros: The cottage was very warm and cosey with amazing views just a 5 minute walk away

Cons: The road to the cottage was quite challenging and would definitely recommend 4x4, it is just about doable in a normal car but my old saab which does have 4wd did get temporarily stuck

Peace from the storm of life

Pros: The cottage was simply perfect for my 11yr old son and me. Everything we needed was there and having access to food from the farm website delivered to the cottage was great. The long narrow shale drive was absolutely fine in a two wheel drive car at this time of year but it might be difficult in the winter. A beautiful location with hills and mountains close to hand and oh so wonderfully peaceful. This was our first visit but won't be our last!!

Pros: This property was a little home away from home. It looks beautiful and was pristinely clean, in a stunning location. Ela couldn’t do enough for us and was the loveliest host. We loved it so much we’ve booked to go twice more

Pros: Over the years, I have stayed in Wales several times. This particular location was undoubtedly one of the finest I've ever had the pleasure of visiting; it's remote, yet you don't feel isolated. The area boasts stunning natural beauty and serves as an excellent base for exploring nearby places. Of interest. The accommodation was lovely, well-decorated, comfortable, and clean. While the hosts were nearby, we never saw them, but they were readily available to answer any questions, and communication was easy. Access to the location was as described; it can be challenging, especially during winter or bad weather? However, I managed the track in a Qashqai, and I've seen other smaller vehicles there as well. It was a memorable part of a wonderful experience.

Cons: I didn't like to leave the place 😭

Pros: What a beautiful cottage. Very clean, homely and nicely furnished. The location is outstanding, right up in the mountains. The atmosphere is incredible. The access is up a long, narrow track and must be taken slowly but it's well worth it. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating.
