A spacious hidden gem with hot tub

Fantastic place, beautiful enclosed garden, has everything you could need and more, highly recommended.

Pros: Little Acre is a lovely house with a large, beautiful enclosed garden which was perfect for our Sproodle, Bruno, to enjoy. It is an extremely practical and well equipped place and had everything we needed plus more! The hot tub was lovely and we had great fun in the games room, especially playing table tennis. The welcome basket was a very thoughtful and kind addition featuring local produce. Easy check in and great communication. Great location for visiting Hay-on-Wye. Highly recommended, we had a lovely stay thank you.

Pros: Beautiful location, lovely gardens and great amenities with the games room and hot tub. The welcome hamper was a nice touch, the property was warm and welcoming when we arrived and decorated for Christmas. Very clean with good cooking facilities, pots, pans and plates etc.

Cons: Lots to love about the place, just quite a small kitchen table for five to sit round.

Absolute 5 star property!

Pros: Absolute Gem of a place!! There is Nothing not to like! The property was very pretty comfy & clean, It was based in a nice set back area of complete privacy, hot tub was wonderful, house was well equiped for families, dog lovers, or just a couple to unwynd. The owner was polite and helpful and easy to reach, the town was small but had what you need, and we found 2 big country parks with a little stream for the dogs to splash about in, the pub next to the property \

Cons: Nothing not to like!!!!

Very comfortable and perfect stay with friends to catch up and the hot tub and outdoor space made it.

Pros: Secluded, quiet, comfortable. Everything you needed. Plenty of room for 4 adults or more. Shower was great. Hot tub and logs for fire pit were a great addition.

Cons: Although comfortable the furniture was quite dated

Pros: Really well equipped property, beautiful gardens with great facilities - games room and hot tub enhanced the stay. Good location with a short walk to town.

Pros: An impressive property in an absolutely brilliant location for access to Offas Dyke and other local walks. Really novel idea to display local street map on the blackboard - very useful. Sitting outside in the garden on a warm summer evening.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike. Decor and furnishings are a wee bit dated, but that's just down to personal taste.

Pros: I loved the attention to detail, reflected in a good and informative welcome pack and chalk drawing. The kitchen was well equipped with new pans, plenty of utensils, crockery, oven pans, etc. The downstairs bed was made up into one super king-size bed and was very comfortable. The hot tub was very pleasant and looked out over the garden. My little dog felt right at home in a secure garden. As a fussy guest on cleanliness, I feel that the cleaner deserves a special mention. Excellent job. The Swan pub (3 minutes walk) had excellent homemade food with a warm, pleasant atmosphere. The local butcher (Paul Lewis) had lovely homemade pork pies, quiches, and scotch eggs perfect for picnics. The Welsh Dragon sausages were top-notch! We look forward to returning later in the year to enjoy the nearby local walks and attractions.

Cons: On personal preference only - better shower pressure, more mats in the bathroom, access to a hoover or carpet sweep, a larger table to do puzzles provided, a second cutting board, a tumble dryer for frequently used towels and robes (hot tub).

Thoroughly Enjoyable

Pros: Almost everything. Very clean and well kept, lovely garden and views, well equipped, loads of interesting books, local info, toys and games in good condition, four tv’s, three toilets. The house was really well laid out and equipped and very welcoming.

Cons: Main bathroom was nice but the floor was very slippery with any splash of water. We have porcelain kitchen tiles at home that aren’t usually slippery so not sure why these tiles were so slippery. And I didn’t find the bedding super comfortable. The duvet cover “slipped” a bit on the duvet and the bedding was a tiny bit knobbly (downstairs bed)

Pros: Just a lovely property and grounds positioned right on the edge of the town but a very short walk to everything.

Pros: Location very central, touring on motorcycles and a car port was available for use, plenty of space, hot tub very welcome after a day of motorcycle touring, plenty of eating and drinking options, great central touring area.
