Pros: Beautiful setting. In the middle of know where (perfect for us). The cottage was spotless, the hot tub was massive! Just amazing
Cons: The country roads are a bit scary! Wouldn't recommend driving in the dark The pictures don't give justice to have lovely cottage is. Hoping to return. And definitely recommend devil's bridge!

Pros: The space is plentiful and we had no issues with how we divided the sleeping arrangements between us. the Hot tub gets up to temperature quick and it maintains it quite good. We are used to use a gas barbecue so when we saw one, we were happy. Beds are comfy and towels are provided. We would come here again for this price but we would be a bit better prepared so we wouldn't have to go to the supermarket for cleaning supplies and condiments. We had a relaxing weekend with friends, the kids had a good size garden to run around, we had the barbecue and the jacuzzi to keep us content.
Cons: You get what you pay for. We found the communication with the host troublesome as when we called initially, we were told the key would be in one place. When we got there, the key was not there. Upon calling the host again the host gave misleading information yet again. Finally after a lengthy conversation, the host remembered the location of the key and the means for us to retrieve it. The barbecue was in a poor state and we had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it properly. some beds looked like the sheets have not been changed, the space between the toilet top lid and the ring lid was dirty and filled with strands of hair. We had to buy salt, pepper, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper (the one provided is a joke) etc. Overall, the place looked like it was cleaned in a rush even though we arrived after 9PM so the host has all day to do a proper job before we arrived. Location is pretty hard to find the first time around and it can become a treasure hunt when an exact google pin on where you need to turn off the main road would save so much time and frustration. Overall, the price that we paid made this experience bearable. We cleaned the places that were essential and accepted the rest.
