Pros: Lovely cosy cottage with very kind hospitable hosts

Cosy cottage in a great location

Pros: Great location for a wedding at Rowton Castle. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home—the cottage is beautifully decorated, warm, and full of charm. Every little detail, from the comfy beds to the well-equipped kitchen, made our stay effortless and relaxing.

Pros: Is a lovely, cosy, cottage and we all enjoyed our stay at this peaceful place .

There’s an ample space for Car parking and easy to find the address.

Pros: The place is so beautiful although we were 20 minutes away from our event venue but it’s worth the drive to know that we will have a restful and beautiful place to rest. The owner replies to queries straight away. Kids love the place and manage to place scrabble their favourite board game. To mention that there’s more board games available just not enough time. Thank you so much Claire for such a welcoming stay at your place. Recommended highly.

Lovely stay visiting friends and making memories

Pros: Beautiful, clean property with everything we needed. Lovely welcome pack in arrival. Perfect location for what we needed for our stay. The children loved the spa bath!

Cons: Not a dislike but on using the washing machine (the children did horse riding and didn’t want to put them in the case covered in horse hair), discovered that it did not drain, even after using the spin and drain setting after. Tumble dryer setting did not work either. This is not a dislike, just a recommendation that you may need it replaced or fixed. Otherwise a beautiful property which we loved and will definitely use again.

Lovely cottage. Comfortable relaxing stay.

Pros: Lovely cottage, great value for money. Stayed here to attend a wedding at a nearby farm, was perfect for this.

Cons: Only negative was that the only bathroom was on the ground floor. Although it was to be expected in an old cottage such as this, it wasn’t ideal for a group of friends sharing.

Cosy cottage in little village

Pros: Cottage was very homely and well presented, great base for exploring the wider area.overall a very nice and comfortable home from home and well equipped. Host left a lovely treat and tray of goodies

Cons: Front bedroom could do with some curtain liners or blackout curtains as we were up with the dawn. Bed in the front bedroom was very firm, optional mattress topper would be good for those who prefer a softer sleep

Cons: Lovely old cottage but only one bathroom downstairs which we did know about.
