Harry's Hotel & Restaurant

Ideal location but does need a big renovation.

Pros: The location is perfect if you want to be in the centre of Aberystwyth. The breakfast was lovely and tasty. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and polite.

Cons: The hotel is very old and dated and really needs a massive renovation. Some people like the quirkiness of that and thats fine but for me there were too many noises coming from the toilet and creaky floor boards that were annoying through the night stopping me from having a good night's sleep. The TV didn't work in my in-laws room although it didn't bother them, if it had of been the TV in my room I would of wanted to be moved as we do like to wind down at the end of the night watching TV. I have stayed here twice bow and the first time we definitely had a better room so I was abit disappointed with the room we had this time but thats not to say i wouldn't stay here again if the price was good.

Cons: Due to the old sash windows and the storm, there was a loud whistle through the window. Easily fixed though.

Pros: Staff are so friendly and helpful, go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They really helped us out in our hour of need, which we are eternally grateful. Beds are really comfortable and the shower was lovely. The place is warm and welcoming, breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Location is perfect

Pros: Very easy check in with friendly staff. Lovely large room, clean and comfortable, Great sized bathroom! Lovely features, and well stocked with tea and coffee. A great price and perfect location, which is why we keep coming back.

Very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast menu and it was nice having a bar on the premises.

Pros: The 1st thing I look for in a room is cleanliness this was very good. We were greeted well at the start of the stay and the lady on reception looked after us all the way through (nothing was too much trouble for her, in fact she seemed to be doing all of the jobs all of the time an asset to you.)

Cons: The only thing that I thought could be improved was the rooms decoration and when it was windy the windows whistled other than those minor things everything was good
