Beautiful, well equipped, characterful property in a stunning part of Wales
Pros: Lovely, characterful, spacious property very close to the centre of Dolgellau. Beautiful hillside / mountain views from the windows at the front the house; comfortable beds, fluffy towels, very well equipped, super clean.
Cons: The kitchen is fairly small. Perfect for preparing / cooking small / easy meals, but anything ‘bigger’ may be challenging. Though this would not put us off returning…

Comfortable, cozy stay in a warm and welcoming little cottage
Pros: Location, close to shops, restaurants and cafes. Lots of lovely places to explore by car or on foot near and far. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beds very comfortable- we all slept well. The front bedroom door didn’t quite shut but no big deal. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Thoughtful welcome gift of cakes, local fruit drink and milk in the fridge. Directions, instructions very clear and information pack helpful. Quick response to questions.
Cons: Rear garden / patio needed tidying and TLC. Could be a lovely outside space. A high step from the path to the front door a light at the door would help with this and opening the key safe. I would have liked some toiletries in the bathrooms. Kitchen paper towels too.

A lovely house, very near the centre of Dolgellau.
Pros: A very comfortable, clean house with excellent attention to detail. Ideal for 4 people, with one large double bed and effectively 2 singles in the upper room. 2 good bathrooms. Excellent, comfy beds with very good bed linen. Large, soft towels. Good cleaning products in kitchen. Easy walk into Dolgellau centre.
Cons: Couldn't park outside the house, but we knew that before we went. On road parking about 200m away on same road, but that didn't present a problem.

A very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Pros: Lovely spacious lounge, first floor bedroom and bathroom. The additional bathroom on the top floor was a pleasant surprise. It meant I could enjoy a nice long soak in the bath after cycling the Mawddach trail, without upsetting my friends. The welcome basket of treats was also much appreciated.
Cons: The property was a little difficult to find, but having visited Dolgellau before and being aware there were one way streets, we knew this would be a case of parking where we could and finding the house on foot. Once we'd located the house, we had no problems finding parking nearby.

Good stay
Pros: Location is good, nice little village, near to good walks, coed y brenin, cadair idris. Well equipped, clean house, nice fresh sheets and towels, washing machine very useful. Good appliances.
Cons: Kitchen is very small, so difficult for more than one person to cook at a time, although it is well equipped. Parking is up the road, slightly annoying after a day out. Shared path to garden meant I couldn't just let my dog out without being escorted, although neighbour is nice and considerate. King size bed very soft. Sofas not very comfortable.

I used to go to Boarding school in Dolgellau and have family friends still living in the town. We climbed Cader on Satur
Pros: We chose Glasfryn for its location as we wanted to climb Cader Idris on Saturday. The property is in Dolgellau close to cafes, pubs and shops. From the description it looked cosy and it was just that. Lovely.
Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Lovely stay
Pros: Perfect location for a Cadair idris hike. Everything you could have wished for was left in the property and honestly would stay again.
Cons: No parking - but this is clearly communicated on all the information
