Large Corris apartment with kitchen & lounge and adjoining bathroom

Pros: I had a fantastic stay in the Corris apartment. Andy and Seraphina are brilliant hosts — warm, genuine, and incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. The decor is unique and stylish, full of character and thoughtful touches that make the space feel special rather than staged. Breakfast was outstanding — generous, beautifully prepared, and a real highlight. As a musician, I really appreciated their candour and authenticity. Great conversation, no pretence — just genuine hospitality. I felt truly at home. And the view on leaving this morning was something else — fresh air, stunning surroundings, and the perfect start to the day. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and would definitely return.

Huge suite with big character within 5 mins walk of the town. Excellent value for money

Pros: The hall was easy to find on Google maps We were greeted on the path by the owner who showed us inside and showed us to our suite- he was very nice The hall decor is quirky and gives the place character and charm The suite is a large and offers the space to relax, make a coffee and enjoy one of the many books in the room. The table in the kitchen is set up for breakfast with a nice choice of cereal, fruit and pastries. The small fridge has fresh juice, milk and yoghurts. There’s plenty of tea and coffee to enjoy throughout the stay.

Cons: Whilst the bed was very comfy, I’m 6ft 1 so I could have done with space at the end of the bed to hang my long legs over the edge of the bed. The kitchen needs a dishcloth or kitchen roll to clean up spills The mugs are too skinny especially for coffee bags The towels were a little musty - an air freshener in the cupboard would solve this. We closed the bedroom door to keep the heat in the room whilst we went out for dinner. When we returned, the key wouldn’t unlock the door so I had to ring the host to ask for the key. She snarled that the door hadn’t been closed for 3 years so why did we close it?! Well we were trying to keep the heat in and there was no sign to say do not close it. The Yale lock snip could have simply been activated so the door didn’t lock. Anyway, the man found the key, apologised and opened the door.

Great value for money in a lovely setting.

Pros: Location was great;easy access in to Dolgellau' fantastic view of the snow-topped hills from outside the front of the property. Room very cosy and clean; free parking. Host had provided oat milk in the room fridge for me.

Cons: Very minor niggles but some jam/marmalade to go with the toast would have been lovely; also shampoo for the shower and not just the body wash provided on the sink in the bathroom. As I say though, very minor things.

Pros: Loved the location, very peaceful, loved the decor, will definitely be back!

Cons: Would have preferred the bathroom in the apartment but will book another room next time

Pros: Wide variety of breakfast cereal choices, toaster , microwave, etc. orange juice and milk in the fridge. The apartment was clean and tidy on our arrival so overall we were very happy with our stay, lovely building and good location, not far from town centre.

Pros: Great size rooms, very comfortable, well presented, tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed and lounge, the kitchen was well equipped and well stocked. The adjoining bathroom had everything one needed. The house was decorated attractively, and the owners were on hand if needed.

Very comfortable stay and great value for money, host were exceptional and would stay there again!

Pros: The property was exceptional for the value of the stay, we had our own bedroom, kitchen/dinning area and also our own bathroom. With very big living space with a sofa, TV including smart apps such as Netflix. Breakfast was included and already set up in the kitchen ready for the morning.
