The Haven by the Sea

Pros: Perfect little cottage in the middle of town. You can really feel the age of this place, from the sparkling clean wooden floors to the beams jutting out of the ceiling. This is a two-up-two-down but also comfortably hosts 8 adults for a winter solstice meal. Excellent range cooker, deep bath, comfy bed, what more do you want? Parking is a hassle but if you're an aber local you know where to ditch the auto during the day. It is situated between the Llew and the Cambria so revellers abound, but this wasn't a problem for us at all. The woodburner has a pile of logs ready to go, and the TV vies for attention (high def, smart, perfect for cozy film watching). We are absolutely booking Hafan Fach again when we return to Aber.

Charming friendly host, Cottage home from home. Wonderful location, I will return,

Pros: Right in the centre of Aberystwyth. Charming cottage with character. Clean and inviting. Had a problem with working out heating. Phoned Daniel and he was around within 10 minutes. Utterly charming and friendly man. We were left wine and nibbles as a welcome gift and he said to contact if any problems. Had a lovely stay.
