Exceeded our expectations! We’ll def be returning

Pros: The hotel was in a fantastic location, surrounded by so much beauty. From our hotel room we could see and hear the river, train station and behind us was a canal where lots of water sports went on. It’s a short distance from the horseshoe waterfalls and town. It’s so beautiful, we’ll def be returning. Breakfast was also lovely and had a good Gin selection for the evening ;)

Pros: Location,service,friendliness and professionalism of staff. Excellent breakfast and helpful to be able to check in early on arrival

Pros: Fantastic location, the view was outstanding with the fast flowing river next door and railway station opposite. Room was warm and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and food choices excellent. Shout out for Grace who kept the drinks flowing and fire glowing.

Pros: Hotel very nice, on arrival the lovely lady on reception have us an upgrade to the suite ,room was very spacious with great view of the river, staff very friendly and food was delicious, would definitely return

Have been visiting this hotel on and off for the past 25 years & have witnessed many improvements

Pros: The friendly staff, the excellent views from the rooms balcony, the open fire and seating, the pay as you go for drinks etc, the view and sounds of the railway opposite, cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms.....

Cons: Be Warned. When booking your room the breakfast that's included is continental only (which is lovely) but a cooked breakfast is not included in the price of the room, there is a supplement to pay if you prefer a full english breakfast.
