The Wynnstay Hotel

Pros: The staff were all excellent - they could not have been more helpful. We felt completely at home as soon as we arrived. The room was large and pleasant and the shower was fantastic

Cons: This is no reflection on the hotel, but the mattress was a bit hard for me as I have a very bad back.

Restaurant excellent.

Pros: Hotel restaurant, food was gorgeous, steak pie!! Hotel great location.

What a lovely hotel

Pros: A lovely hotel, the owners clearly look after such a lovely building and have a great team looking after it. A big car park and warm and efficient welcome. Our 2 booked rooms were ready earlier than check in time, with little fuss and both rooms had touches of warmth and elegance. The beds were super comfortable, the bedrooms clean and bathrooms v well equipped with lovely soaps and washes. All of the staff were friendly and efficient and for a town centre hotel, this is highly recommended.

Cons: Breakfast is a little expensive, and I cannot comment on bar or restaurant quality as we chose to wander round the town - but of the food and drinks match the accommodation for quality, it is probably worth it

Perfect

Pros: Everything was perfect. We had dinner and breakfast both were fantastic. Beds were comfortable. The staff are unbelievable. I have not found a better place to stay after a month away from home. Thank you very much to all the staff

Gorgeous hotel

Pros: Welcoming and friendly people. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, very clean and had a comfortable bed!

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

A decent hotel at a reasonable price point after discount

Pros: Good choice at breakfast time and very good service. Evening meal was good.

Cons: My room over looked the outside bar area was a little noisy until that closed

Great Stay

Pros: We enjoyed our one night at the Wynnstay hotel, immensely. The hotel is ideally situated. Very comfortable and well managed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home.

Lovely venue and convenient for the town.

Pros: Comfortable and warm, with a really lovely bar and restaurant. We enjoyed our breakfast and the staff were excellent.

Cons: Only a minor point in an otherwise good stay. We had a twin room and as friends probably wouldn’t have chosen to sleep right next to each other as the two single beds were set together. We could’ve moved them slightly but it wasn’t easy to do. Also very squeaky floorboards on the stairs and outside rooms, but you’d expect that in an older building.
