2 Bell Street

Great little flat and very clean 👌

Pros: Great place to stay for where we needed to be. Very clean and had everything we needed. Great little pub over the road and a near by shop 👌

Cons: Car park is a bit of a Treck in the rain

Pros: This is a small, cozy flat at a perfect location for hiking / cycling in the Black Mountains. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen which we really appreciated. There are plenty of sockets, everything works, and it was just like home.

Cons: The lower part of the oven did not work. It wasn't a tragedy as we could roast the duck in the upper part 😉.

Nice quiet apartment

Pros: Ground floor. Quiet. Comfortable for we two elderly ladies.

Cons: Just a little thing. There is a connecting door between the bedrooms which needed a curtain to block out light. 2 people with different bed times and reading habits. We solved it with a bath towel.

Enjoyable stay in excellent region.

Pros: Bedrooms quiet despite property being on the street. All the town facilities nearby. Off-street parking not too far away.

Cons: The sitting room has poor lighting in the region of the sofa if you want to read printed material - a more specific controllable light from behind or at the side of the sofa would help.

Cons: Maybe provide a guest book for comments and a small file of nearby things to do and see.

Pros: Lovely base for exploring wonderful wales. Central location in Talgarth. Great comms. Welsh cakes were a nice touch!

Cons: I think the mattresses need replacing or toppers as they were too uncomfortable

Pros: Location was superb. Fronts onto Bell Street facing the pub but no noise experienced. The riverside bear garden was tucked behind the pub and easily accessible. Car parking available to unload and then free car park only 3 or 4 minutes away and easy to find. Good kitchen and bathroom.

Cons: Small point but better Tv instructions would be useful. Could turn on but no way to change the channel, not a big deal as we were out most of the time.

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful location, handy for scenic walks nearby and for visiting Hay-on-Wye and Brecon

Pros: Loved the location, enough space for the 3 of us and very handy for the pub! Would have liked to have stayed longer and had more time to look around Talgarth properly.

Cons: Only issue was that we couldn’t get the TV to work properly, but that was a minor problem and didn’t detract from our stay

Restful stay in Talgarth

Pros: Excellent location in centre of town close to local shops and pub. Nicely appointed and nothing was too much trouble!

Cons: Nothing. Excellent!
