Very comfortable accomodation with an excellent host

Pros: Really enjoyed Ludlow and our host Paul made us feel very welcome and was a good source of information about places to go to and what to avoid. He is a character, full of amusing stories. We were there 2 nights over the weekend and had a lovely meal in The Queens on the Friday (having booked a few days before). We had nothing booked for the Saturday and found it more difficult but ended up in a nice pizza place called Source. The church and its cafe are well worth a visit, unfortunately the castle was closed due to high winds. The pub up the road (The Old Road Tavern) has music on Friday nights which was good and we also enjoyed a visit to the Ludlow Brewery. A fridge in the room was helpful as was the use of the lounge to watch a film on Netflix or DVD. The bed was very comfy and the continental breakfast was very good. Parking is not right beside the property but its only a 5 minute walk to a large reasonably priced car park (£3.20 for the day).

Paul was a great host, very intresting and knowledgeable to talk to, he spoke about a walk along the river which we did

Pros: Big very comfortable bed, en suite was spacious , tea coffee facilities in the room with plenty of choice and fresh milk in the fridge was refreshing.

We would not mind going back one day to stay again with Paul.

Pros: Within walking distance of everything in Ludlow, Paul, our host was a breath of fresh air and he provided us with a lovely breakfast in a heritage listed, quirky old home. the Church Inn was the perfect pub to go to for a good vegetarian meal each night.

Pros: Paul the host was very entertaining, the bed was very comfortable, continental breakfast just right, excellent location and nothing bad to report. Even Paul admits to being a bit whacky and colourful and the decorations he has around the house confirm that

Paul our host opened his house to us and made us feel so welcome Felt like we arrived as guests and left as friends Tha

Pros: Very Central, Comfortable, Breakfast was a bonus we didn’t expect as was the fine examples of decoration throughout the house we absolutely loved our stay . The Race course and the Brewery are well worth a visit and the Town is full of independent shops and eateries Brilliant

Cons: Nothing it was FAB
