We both enjoyed our stay and would return.

Pros: Breakfast excellent with nice view across the garden even in winter Enjoyed discussions with Gary.

Cons: Bright blue light on bedroom radiator - covered with a bag. Didn't realise we should have brought slippers to counter cold floor in boot room

We enjoyed our break in a comfortable house in lovely countryside.

Pros: Claire and Gary made us very welcome, it was home from home, The breakfast was excellent ,cooked when we came to the dining room. On our last night Gary lit the log burner so we could watch the TV in the lounge \

Cons: Nothing.

Cosy B&B in Hope Bowdler

Pros: A convenient location for visiting Cardingmill Valley and Church Stretton, Much Wenlock and Wenlock Edge and other places of interest in Shropshire. We had a comfortable room and a lovely breakfast. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and provided information about local places and eateries and how to circumnavigate the road works. The house is set in picturesque grounds and there's a cosy lounge for visitors.

Cons: No restaurants within easy walking distance but they are not very far.

Fantastic warm hosts and great location and facilities

Pros: The hosts were very friendly and charming and instantly made my friend and myself feel welcome. We had lovely large room with excellent facilities and it was very clean and comfortable.

Welcoming comfortable accommodation. Excellent breakfasts, beautiful location. Highly recommended.

Pros: Breakfast was tasty and my gluten free requests were met. Claire and Gary were attentive and helpful. It was nice to have the use of a communal lounge and meet other guests. The garden was spacious and as it was so hot we made use of the shady trees.

Most enjoyable stay, we will be back.

Great place to stay for hiking

Pros: Well maintained and decorated property. Comfortable beds and lovely breakfast. There was a large comfortable lounge and also a small kitchen where we could keep food for our packed lunches plus fresh milk provided for tea and coffee. Hiking routes straight from the door, good recommendations for local food too.

Cons: Some road noise mainly because we had the window open during warm weather.

Friends Mini Break

Pros: The location was perfect for walking out to the Shropshire Hills and for driving to the Park and Ride into Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury has lots to see and do. Our hosts were brilliant! Very welcoming and sociable and very knowledgeable of the area, which helped us decide where to go for our 5 night stay. The breakfast was varied, a mixture of cooked with cereals, yoghurt, and fruit. Church Stretton has quite a few shops to explore. We ate in a local Thai one evening, which was delicious.

Cons: I liked everything! The only thing I missed was sitting outside in the evening, but this won't stop me from returning in the future.

Smashing place to stay!

Pros: Wonderful guesthouse. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Facilities were great with excellent attention to detail. The breakfast was lovely. We particularly liked the fact that there was a small kitchen for guests to use, with a fridge to store food and drinks. There is also a lovely lounge to relax in which would be particularly useful if a group of friends stay at the guesthouse.
