Pros: The most welcoming staff you will find anywhere- they can't do enough for you. A lovely historic building next to the spectacular church. Book the Buck's Head- you can't go wrong.

Comfortable, people and dog friendly

Pros: New owners of 4 months went out of their way to make us welcome. Very comfortable bed in large bedroom. En suite with bath with lots of hot water Parking handy in car park opposite (payable but free after 6pm and all day Sunday). Extremely dog friendly. Good atmosphere in pub Enjoyed two meals Typical pub grub menu but home cooked

A warm, characterful inn run by genuinely lovely people, in a fantastic location.

Pros: This is one of the oldest buildings in Church Stretton and you feel it the moment you walk in. The inn fits perfectly with the character of the area. The staff and proprietors are genuinely lovely people who are clearly passionate about what they do, and it shows. Breakfast was tasty and generous. I cannot recommend this inn, or its location, highly enough.

Cons: It is very difficult to fault my experience there, the only thing I can think of is the room could benefit from a bit of a refresh in places, which is understandable given the new proprietors have only recently taken over.

Great value & super tasty food

Pros: Lovely overnight stay at the Bucks’s Head. Welcoming hosts and extremely good value. Clean room & comfy bed. Breakfast was included and was super tasty. We also had a meal in the pub, reasonably priced and again very tasty! Would highly recommend! 10/10, good luck to the young couple who have recently taken over, we wish them every success. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
