Pros: The hotel, although obviously very old, had been tastefully restored. It was exceptionally clean with good facilities. It was warm and comfortable with an amazing restaurant with food to match. It was convenient for everything in the City Shrewsbury which is a beautiful.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Very nice hotel, excellent staff and it was interesting to note the history of the hotel.bed was amazing access and parking is also very good.

Cons: Hot water in the actual bath tub and flow rate could have been better, but the shower and basin water temperature was perfect. The actual bathtub was amazing.

Lovely historic hotel in a great location.

Pros: Beautiful, historic building in a great location, comfortable and sensitively styled. The staff were helpful and friendly, great atmosphere in the nice bar area, unfortunately we were unable to sample the restaurant but would be very happy to do so on our next visit.

Not bananas to go to Rhubarb.

Pros: Beautiful building, inside and out, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and a great central location for the town. 24 hour discounted parking is an excellent bonus as parking in the town is extortionate. Breakfast was hearty and cooked to perfection.

Cons: Parking is a bit tight, bring a small car and not a monster Audi or Range Rover. Everything else was excellent.

Exceptional all round stay

Pros: We had a wonderful time - all the staff looked after us very well and were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean - and decorated to a very high standard. The quality of the food was exceptional - can't wait to go back!
