Great find

Pros: Lovely old property , very quirky. Beautiful surroundings , Hosts very friendly , rooms spotless . Breakfast beautiful

Cons: Stairs a little hazardous ,slim , slanted and obvs very worn over years Bathroom was freezing

Kids love coming here, as do we. Room is comfortable and warm. Pubs in area have great food. Would definitely recommend

Pros: Lovely place, just perfect for our stay while attending a wedding not far from here. Breakfast was lovely and the accommodated my gluten free diet. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Lovely room, lovely hosts and a tasty full English breakfast: Perfect!

Pros: Very relaxed, helpful hosts and environment. The room and ensuite were pretty and well appointed, Spacious, warm family room. Only a very shot drive to a good local pub with food and also not far from Shrewsbury Town. Beautiful views. Would be lovely in the summer too. Lovely to have a good, hearty breakfast served to you in the morning, at flexible times.

Can't wait to return!

Pros: Everything! We were sad to leave. It was a lovely property, very accommodating staff and very cosy and friendly. Breakfast was perfect, well seasoned, tasty and catered well for allergies. We are already talking about when we will return in the Summer.

Pros: Absolutely delightful stay at Upper Eyton Farmhouse. Very comfy and room, great hosts a fabulous cooked breakfast that set us up sell for a days mountain biking in Wales.

Pros: We loved the rural location and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: We are repeat visitors to stay here, although due to health issues been a couple of years. The welcome warm friendly from Dawn and Gregg remains , as does the legendary cooked breakfast. We were upgraded foc to the family room which has terrific views of the countryside. Property is easy to find, well situated for trips into wales or Shrewsbury/ Ironbridge / LLangollen to name a few. Great walking at lake VRYNWY too. Since our last visit they have added a residential bar facility which means you can relax for a drink without walking or worrying about cabs to the 2 local pubs. We will be back in the future.

Cons: Couple of minor decorating issues in the bathroom if one is to be picky, but its patina and part of this lovely old property in my opinion.. It does not detract from the overall comfort and ambiance of the stay. I would have scored it 10 but, the steep and low ceilings on the staircase may prove a challenge to some. We are pensioners and manage it safely and successfully as do small children. Hope the ankle mends quickly Gregg, and Merry Christmas to you both, enjoy the holiday!

A lovely rural location but still close to Shrewsbury.

Pros: A lovely quiet location but a short drive to Shrewsbury. It has a homely feel with very welcoming hosts. The bed was very comfortable and an excellent breakfast.

Cons: The property was ideal for me but the bedroom was up 2 flights of old stairs so might pose a problem for less able people.
