Mynd House

Love this place would not stay anywhere else in Church Stretton.

Pros: The accommodation was great, I had stayed here before, and didn't want to consider anywhere else as I was extremely pleased with the place. The ladies looking after us were friendly and helpful, you could not get better.

Cons: As I sleep on my side I found the pillows too thin to pack the space between the bed and my head. I was staying 2 nights and did not mention it to the ladies or I am sure my issue would been solved. My fault not their fault.

Pros: The breakfasts were delicious (in fact, absolutely first class), the location was just right for me and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. There is also a fantastic guest sitting room which I would definitely have utilised if I had not been so pre-occupied with walking and meeting my friends during my stay.

Cons: My only complaint would be that I found the pillows too hard for me but, everyone is different, so this is not really a criticism. Apart from that, I loved everything about the accommodation and my stay.

Little Gem in Little Stretton!

Pros: Everything, particularly the dual aspect room and the location.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Highly recommend was welcomed by Liz on arrival who was suoer helpful. Very impressed with the views and the rooms are exceptionally clean. Our room had everything you needed and more. The breakfast catered for all your needs and service was fantastic.

Lovely place to stay with super nice host .

Pros: The location is superb and only a short walk to the Ragleth for dinner in the evening. Church Stretton is lovely and only a few minutes up the road. Breakfast was excellent as were the 'morning' staff. Very pleasant young people.

Cons: Only slight, minor criticism would be the low pressure water from the electric shower, which is totally understandable, given the way these showers work, with flow rate depending on the temperature of the cold water supply.

Property and owners welcome were impeccable .

Pros: Location of property excellent close to services , shops and places to dine . Walking distance to hills and countryside.

Cons: Things to dislike did not enter my thinking .

Pros: Was exactly what it said on the tin. Will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Cons: Would hate to attempt the driveways in snow or frost.

Pros: Spacious, clean, attention to detail throughout. Quiet location. Rooms beautifully presented with ample storage and top of the range toiletries. What a delight!
