Great stay, definitely recommend

Pros: Great location, close to the town, just a few minutes walk, small diversion off A470. Warm, comfortable, felt special with the design. Welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely dining area, great decor and made it feel like an occasion. Choice of cooked breakfast was good. Also a buffet to choose from too. Deluxe double was great, very unique and a surprise of what you get. Plenty of tea and coffee left- choice of instant and pods. Option to request fresh milk was great. Small detail of leaving an umbrella to use to transfer between buildings was great.

Cons: No hand towels left, a bin in the room would be helpful. No Crockery in the kitchenette which was a shame ( although didn't know booked a room with a kitchenette so maybe that's why there was no Crockery etc) No Welsh spoken, no even a simple greeting of Bore da in the morning. Very disappointing due to the location of the hotel,in the heart of Wales. Sausages and bacon a bit disappointing in the breakfast.

Live like a King at the Brecon Castle!

Pros: Everything was brilliant from start to finish - the staff, the hotel, the food, the atmosphere...not to mention the free main & dessert I got as it was my birthday! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back. Also very very dog friendly if you are travelling with one.

Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Pros: Excellent location, stunning decor, food was lovely.

Cons: Its probably me but I thought the bed was way to hard, and uncomfy. Struggled to sleep. Staff were great but they seemed a little understaffed.
