Rowton Castle

I would definitely stay again.

Pros: Breakfast was great, and choices were very good. Evening meal was amazing. Bed was clean and comfy. Room was very clean.

Cons: Wish there would be a sofa instead of 2 chairs to watch tv at night. For some reason I was under impression breakfast was included in the stay. Being tall the shower didn't go over my head, not really a fault more of an observation.

Everything from the moment we arrived was fantastic, staff created a wonderful atmosphere and were so warm and welcoming

Pros: We had a truly wonderful stay at Rowton Castle. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff was warm, friendly and welcoming, always with a genuine smile. The restaurant was excellent – the food was delicious, and the gentleman who served us was both professional and courteous, making the dining experience especially enjoyable. Our room was spotless and beautifully presented. The toiletries provided were of exceptional quality, with a lovely fragrance that added a real touch of luxury. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable and comfortable stay. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend Rowton Castle to others.

Relaxed and luxurious

Pros: Absolutely stunning but you are made to feel so relaxed by staff.

An overnight meeting family in a very relaxed setting

Pros: Great setting and and amazing building. Yes its an old building but superbly maintained. Staff where extremely friendly and caring, food was good, room was very good and a very comfy bed. Access is a doddle although they have no lift and stairs are quite steeep (but they do tell you that at the time of booking etc)

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Amazing

Pros: We got married there it’s definitely the best place to go and the staff are definitely the best staff at a hotel I have ever been in make you welcome and cannot do enough for u you should be very proud you have a amazing team of staff there

Pros: Beautiful grounds, lovely entrance, bar and dining area. 2 fires burning created a warm and welcoming feel. The staff were so welcoming and lovely to us and the chickened provided us with excellent recomebdats for day trips which we would have never had gone to if not recomended.

Cons: Very warm, this could have been for specific reasons thoufh.

Cosy castle in the countryside!

Pros: Hidden gem! Beautiful building with a very calm and relaxed ambience. Felt like we were staying at a country house rather than at an anonymous hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast was served in the panelled dining room with pristine white tablecloths. All the food was delicious. Would certainly recommend.

Cons: Leaving!

Pros: Enjoyed restaurant food. Lovely breakfast, not the best hollandaise sauce I’ve had. Lovely grounds. Excellent lawns to rear garden. Beautiful location. Wonderful opportunity to restore walled gardens. Everything well maintained. Very friendly and professional staff.

Cons: Could do with a lift to second floor. Other than that, better hollandaise sauce.
