Good if you like time warps.

Pros: Old world charm. Probably hasn't changed in decades. Good food.

Cons: Only bottled beer, but that's no hardship.

Ideal location and budget friendly, clean and quaint.

Pros: Fantastic location at the foot of Cadair Idris, just off the main road. Clean rooms and friendly host.

Cons: Whilst it is an older building, the interior of the room felt a bit dated. It could do with some modernising. But I must stress that it was spotless and well presented.

Pros: This is not my first stay at this hotel, and it’s always a pleasure to come back. The location is perfect — right at the foot of the mountains, offering such a peaceful setting. The hotel itself is beautiful, very well maintained, and always spotlessly clean. Gordon is a wonderful host who goes out of his way to ensure every guest feels comfortable and well looked after.

Pros: Every body I met was very friendly, it was clean, the food was delicious and well cooked, it was quiet at all times. As a single female staying alone, I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable being there.
