We’ll definitely be back!

Pros: A beautiful house right in the heart of Montgomery. Our host was charming and helpful and served a delicious breakfast. The room was extremely comfortable with a wonderfully comfortable bed.

Quite possibly the best B&B I'm ever likely to stay at!

Pros: Quite possibly the best B&B I'm ever likely to stay at - certainly the new benchmark! Had a fantastic & luxurious one night stay whilst on a multi day mountain biking tour. Best accommodation and nights sleep of the trip. Not sure if we were the usual type to stay but welcomed warmly by a great host. (bit beyond our usual price range - but you could definitely see what your extra £££s got you!)

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Beautifully decorated and appointed to a very high standard. The bed was comfortable and linen was exceptional quality. Our breakfast was delicious and piping hot.

Beautiful B&B with very kind host

Pros: Stayed here for a wedding at Garthmyl Hall, just a short drive to the venue. Our room was incredible and extremely spacious, clean and overall excellent! Cook breakfast in the morning by the lovely host who couldn’t do enough for us. Delicious breakfast and coffee, incredibly comfortable bed. Could not recommend this B&B enough, would definitely return.

Unique and stylish property in a lovely location.

Pros: The Old Stores is set right in the middle of the town. Lovely old buildings all around. The interior is stylish and comfortable. The owner has made an amazing job of decorating and furnishing the space. Bedroom was large and the bathroom was spacious with a large shower and a stand alone bath. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared. Having a flask of fresh milk in the bedroom for coffee or tea was a thoughtful touch.

Cons: There are steep steps up to the front door which might prove difficult for some.

Such a gem, loved our 1 night stay.

Pros: A gem of a b&b, so pretty and the interior straight out of an interior decorating magazine. Loved the bedroom, huge bathroom and the separate sitting room (sadly didn't stay long enough to enjoy that one). Beautifully furnished. Ruth made us feel very welcome and made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Absolutely will be back!

Cons: Didn't like the clock tower nearby chiming every hour till midnight and again from early morning - but due to the warm weather we did have the bedroom window wide open.

Cons: Bed creaked. Shared table at breakfast (not unpleasant at all, but would have preferred separate table).

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, fresh orange juice and the coffee was amazing. Location is fab. Everything was perfect will definitely be back again

Pros: We loved our stay in beautiful Montgomery and The Old Stores. The host was very welcoming and friendly. We were made to feel at home. Beautiful, large room with comfortable bed. Very clean and tidy. Wonderful bathroom with both shower and bath. Powerful water pressure. Excellent breakfast. Would happily stay again.

An extremely comfortable stay in a beautiful property with every attention to detail.

Pros: Excellent breakfast, eg pancakes with fresh fruit, smashed avocado with poached egg on toast or full Welsh served on fine Wedgwood China. Beautiful bedroom and huge bathroom with excellent shower and a separate bath. No TV in the bedroom but in a separate sitting room if required. Fresh milk provided for the bedroom.

Cons: Steep steps up to the front door.
