A lovely clean and warm place to stay with all the creature comforts and a lovely host

Pros: The location was very close to the lovely town center. The rooms were very nice and well presented. Access to tea/coffee was ideal. The hote was fantastic and very helpful. I will definitely stay there again. Fantastic value for money.

Enjoyed big time, a hidden gem in Newtown, just go there!

Pros: Absolutely everything. James and his wonderful wife were friendly and charming, and made my stay superb. The accomodation, plus bar I may add, was everything one could want, my room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. If anyone wants an event or wedding reception etc, it can cater for it. So much looking forward to a return. Well done James, the future’s looking bright! Massive thankyou. Warmest regards Noel

Last minute booking met what I needed

Pros: Location was great, very clean, hot shower, WiFi, good tv, nice towels, host got me a hairdryer which was appreciated. Good communication throughout

Cons: Clean and functional, friendly welcome. It was a cold night, heating should come on earlier as up and out before 7am

Clean and comfortable

Pros: Didn’t have breakfast. Host was very helpful and caring. It was very clean - only wanted a bed for the night which we had - thank you

Pros: It was a really comfortable room with plenty of space and all I needed for the stopover. James provided a very warm welcome, and it was great to be able to enjoy the pub downstairs, too.

Pros: Cost of accommodation very reasonable. Room and en suite small but suitable for the one night I stayed there. Parking on road immediately outside premises. Owner very helpful and easy to converse with.

Cons: Shared kitchen area. Hopefully in future could consider breakfast option.

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room with water and coffees.

Pros: The host was super friendly and helped us carry our stuff to the room. The room was clean, confortable bed and had bottles of water and nice coffees and after eights all ready for us. It was a shared bathroom but we didn’t run into any problems there as it was a short stay and very clean bathroom.
