Fabulous

Pros: The place is fabulous, definitely will stop there again.

Cons: Great location, great staff, fantastic room The only negative is the price of the drinks -£25 for two drinks seem a bit excessive

Pros: The house, gardens and interior are beautiful. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Cons: The stairs are very long and there is no lift. People with disabilities or health issues will find these very difficult. For that reason I would be unable to stay there again. Bathroom has a nice big mirror but a magnified mirror is needed for anyone wishing to apply make up or contact lenses.

loved the hall, full of history, people, food fantastic

Pros: very relaxing and tastefully decorated strange choice of music, staff friendly and food good. Maybe just a tad skimpy on portions size but the taste made up for that.

Cons: Have a little back ground music in the lounge it was beautiful with the lit fire but had no ambiance

Pros: Fantastic location and setting ..staff exceptional and evening meal and breakfast outstanding.

Cons: On arrival drinks available however no light snacks avalaible prior to evening meal for consideration especially if you have had a long drive prior to arrival.

Wonderful stay

Pros: Amazing property in a beautiful location. Grounds were lovely. Interior is very stylish and rooms very nice. Food was lovely in the restaurant and all staff excellent.

Relaxing and restorative

Pros: Food was fresh and carefully prepared. Room was very comfortable and the whole hotel was relaxed and kept in the style of a country house. The abundance of good art and the furnishings set the tone.

Cons: The service was pleasant, but rather variable with some unnecessary long delays. Standards (of breakfast presentation ) were not consistent
