Lovely family get together.

Pros: Wonderful location, nice and quiet with great views but just a short walk from the town and many scenic walks.

Cons: Minor quibbles only.Small selection of cutlery, crockery and, particularly, wine and beer glasses. That may just be us on the last one.Still had some lovely wine evenings. Cork screw, pizza cutter and decent sharp knives and bread knife. All just suggestions for improvement, but, like I say, minor issues. Now I sound like a moaner. Just remembered, instructions for the gas fire and appliances, mostly obvious anyway, and what to do with bedding/towels on departure. Had a wonderful time anyway.Thank you for our stay.

It was an exceptional week. We are already planning our next stay - and for longer next time!

Pros: We loved everything about our week's holiday at the Highlands. Even though it rained almost every day, the bungalow was so warm and comfortable, that it didn't matter. We could soon get warm and dry when we returned from soggy walks in the hills!! The kitchen had everything we needed, and our host, Ann, had left little extras like peppermints beside the sofa - to enhance our enjoyment and relaxing! The bathroom with bath and shower was amazing too. It was a treat for me to have a hot soak, as we now have only a shower at home. There was also a pleasant 'quiet room' with a cd player and cds of peaceful tranquil music and hymns! We used to live in the area, and it was wonderful walking and driving in the wonderful Stretton hills, and also enjoying good meals out.

Cons: I can't really think of anything. Some extra cushions would be nice! But next time, I will take my own. For most people that would be no issue at all, but we are older now, and like our extra comforts - and the dining chairs are really hard!!
