Harlech Apartments - Efnisien

Pros: Fabulous location, comfortable and tastefully, well equipped apartment. Allocated parking right outside property.

Cons: The apartment was at the rear of the building and therefore didn't have the amazing views that other apartments had.

Perfect location & base for Snowdonia & surroundings

Pros: Perfect location. Lovely apartment & very clean.

Cons: Bathroom slide door - not as private as some would like.

Pros: Good location, lovely apartment, warm and cozy, easy access, nice personal touch with the cake.

Cons: Would have been nice to have a bath. And views weren’t great but nothing you can really do about those issues

Pros: The property is centrally located overlooking the castle. The rooms are very cosy and well furnished and decorated.

Cons: The shower has a tendency to flood the bathroom floor.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The local pub and Pattra’s restaurant are highly recommended.

Pros: Its location, facilities and comfort were excellent

Cons: The wardrobe, although very nice, wasn’t long enough to hang trousers or dresses. There were no hooks to hang coats especially as the weather was inclement, other than 2 behind the door in the bedroom! We had to waste too much water running it to get hot water. Although we knew the view didn’t include the castle, the view from the lounge was unexpected!! Something needs to be done to make it more pleasurable!

Pros: Great location, excellent facilities, very clean and comfortable. Everything needed to cook and enjoy a meal. very comfortable bed. Dedicated parking outside the building. A great place to stay and enjoy Harlech and the surrounding area.

Cons: Only minor was the shower having no arm so you have to hold it when washing.

A superb place to stay if visiting North Wales.

Pros: Great location. Apartment was very spacious, clean and contained everything you need for a self catering stay.

Cons: Clearer instruction on using hob. We don’t have an electric hob at home but managed to find a YouTube video to guide us. I’m used to getting queries answered. is Booking .com but this property used their own portal which I didn’t find easy to use.

Pros: Appartments mitten im Ort direkt vor dem Castle, alles für Selbstverpfleger vorhanden (wenn auch nicht üppig ausgestattet), kostenlose Stellflächen auf dem Castle-Parkplatz, ab 9:30 Uhr kann man im Burgcafe frühstücken, nette Begrüßungsgeschenke (Danke!), wird von Cadw betrieben, deshalb sind kostenlose Besuche aller Castles und Abbeys an drei Tagen inbegriffen (im Castle Shop anmelden)

Cons: wenig Gaststätten im Ort und diese teilweise ausgebucht bzw. mit unregelmäßigen Öffnungszeiten, PIN-Code und key safe- Empfang bei der Anreise sehr unpersönlich, zumal das Appartment nach der Wegbeschreibung nicht einfach zu finden war (Efnisien ist keine Ortsbeschreibung, sondern der Name eines der vielen Appartments im Gebäude)
