Harlech Apartments - Bendigeidfran

We used it as base and it was nice to come home to each evening and watch the sunset.

Pros: The view is exceptional. The apartment is very smart. It is very well insulated against the extreme weather that you can experience there. We enjoyed the complimentary welsh cake

Cons: There was only one toilet roll, no spare. There is a fantastic place to sit and look at the view, but nowhere to put a drink -it needs a little table. The \

Pros: Brilliant location in a very roomy and and comfortable apartment

Great location and great space.

Pros: The location was perfect for us and very close to lovely food and other shops plus great views. Great shower. Great cooking facilities and pots etc.

Cons: The response to three emails asking to extend our visit was non existent so I’m really upset by the communication. 2 glasses in the cupboard were already cracked and should have been replaced. It would have been nice to be left one or two dishwasher tablets rather than having to scour the area to buy some. Freezer section of the fridge needs defrosting as it is so frosted up there is little space.

Exceptional surprising accommodation.

Pros: I loved the location. The view of the Castle which was just across from the car park was excellent. Spacious apartment filly equipped. This one is wheelchair accessible with rails etc in the toilet and bathroom. You are close to an excellent home made ice cream and chocolates shop and the local pizzeria is also a place to try. Y Grocer on the main road is good for nice artisan food.

Cons: We were there in the hottest week of the year. Really lovely but we could havd done with a fan

Excellent property both in size and quality would highly reccomend

Pros: Loved the location. The size of the apartment was amazing and super clean. Nice little welcome pack and little touches like new kitchen cloths, scourers etc is always a good sign. Was also incredibly warm!

Cons: Could probably do with some nice bedside lamps rather than wall lights in the bedroom. Also found both TV’s a struggle to work until I realised that they seem to both only work with the bedroom remote.

Excellent and very comfortable

Pros: Location and fantastic views. Gift pack on arrival was a good touch. We really enjoyed our stay. The surroundings were terrific.

Cons: No tea or coffee. For such a great apartment it would have been good to have something to make a cup of tea.

Beautiful place

Pros: Beautiful apartment. Huge lounge/dining area, lovely wet room, light and airy. Kitchen well stocked for our means (except toaster - see dislikes!) View from the windows was spectacular - castle right in front, sea behind, Eryri to the right. Parking was easy - there are 5 spaces reserved for the apartments and there were always spaces available for our stay. Limited food choices without getting in the car (the Harlech Tandoori is a bit hit and miss and the Chinese restaurant wasn't open) but there's a lovely deli open 8 til 7 that has an amazing array of ready meals and wine!

Cons: This is a Sykes cottages property - which is fine - but I was bombarded with emails before my stay, some of which recommended bringing kitchen equipment with me, which I found odd. I got plenty of reminders about keysafe codes, too, which isn't a bad thing, but there were just too many of them. An electrician was called by a previous tenant, who took our toaster away when we arrived. He said he would get it replaced, but despite phoning to chase, we didn't get the new one during our stay. But despite this being a bit irritating, I'd thoroughly recommend these apartments

Really lovely apartment with incredible views

Pros: Fantastic apartment, incredible view, dream location, really enjoyed our stay. Such a spacious apartment, with lots of different seating spots to enjoy the view straight over the castle, across to the Llyn peninsula, over to Porthmadog, and sneakiest peak of Yr Wyddfa. Really well equipped kitchen and dining space, and super comfy beds. Loved the extra little touches too, like the telescope, books, and little bag of welcome treats. We couldn’t ask for more, just perfect, thank you!

Great mini break for us would love to stay again

Pros: We liked the view, and the free parking, the large size of the apartment, the bathroom especially the shower, the kitchen had all the equipment you would need.

Cons: Sadly we and the other guests had an issue with the man who was in apartment Efnisien, he turned up his tv really loud and it was still on after midnight which kept us awake so I went and knocked on his door to ask him to turn it down, upon opening he let out a tirade of Welsh abuse. Another couple left a similar review in the visitors book. He also used a public parking space instead of the allotted space for the apartments, so leaving 1 less space for the general public.

Lovely location and accommodation

Pros: Brilliant location, comfortable, clean, quality furnishings, easy to park outside, and fabulous castle, and sea views.

Cons: Hot water in bathroom basin was a little unpredictable in the evening on one occasion during our stay.
