A perfect hotel in a delightful setting. Wonderful.

Pros: The room, the food and service were all excellent. We had the most delicious supper and breakfast in the dining room with outstanding views of the lake and the food was all to an extremely high standard. The staff were very helpful. We were muddy and wet from walking Glyndwr's way and they took all our hiking gear and dried it out in the boiler room overnight, incredibly kind and caring.

Cons: It was perfect, there was nothing we didn't like

Lovely relaxing stay in a little luxury 'off the beaten tracks'. For a special deal this was great

Pros: The room was superb, really comfy bed, deepest bath with loads of hot water, nice big bright room with lovely green views. Everything in the room needed and more. A great offering of teas and drinks.

Cons: Dissapointed with the food in the restaurant. Dinner was cold and had little taste sadly as a minimal vegetarian option. I was really looking forward to breakfast but on the first day this was also very disappointing, perhaps some communication issues and problems if items are not on the tablet for the waiting staff, but surprised something simple like porridge couldn't be made. Other issues were rectified when asked, also on the second day things had much improved which was really great to see & appreciated.

Pros: Very friendly staff - special thanks to Tegan in the Spa for finding my watch! Food excellent.

Cons: Some parts of the hotel a little grubby - stairs and spa floors.

Beautiful hotel and location

Pros: What a fantastic place to stay! The food was amazing, the hotel was clean, comfortable and oldy worldy, the view was epic! Staff made you feel really welcome and we will come back again.

Cons: As we stayed in winter the room was a little bit cold, I don't like staying in hot places so this was perfect but it would have been nice to have an extra blanket and I couldn't find one as it was 3am when I got cold! This is only a small complaint though.
