Handy stop over when travelling from mid west Wales

Pros: Central in town. Car park good but you need the hotel map to find it.old coach house type hotel . Staff very good. Nice big bar

Cons: My bedroom floor made a lot of noise as I walked around . I felt sorry for whoever was below.

Convenient friendly and welcoming.

Pros: It is very much an independent with the friendly welcoming and flexible attitude to match. The location is very central although I didn’t find the parking on my first attempt.

Cons: The room was a little bit small even though it was described as double. There’s no lift and there are a lot of stairs to the upper floors.

Great place in the centre of Welshpool

Pros: This is a gem of a hotel in the centre of Welshpool. We stayed here 2 nights and found the place convenient for the town and surrounding area, the staff friendly and the food and accommodation to a high standard.

Cons: A minor issue, but the coffee at breakfast was not of the quality available in the cafe/bar.

Pros: Gorgeous hotel. Loved the old photos around the building. Lots of places to sit. Restaurant lovely. Bedrooms really comfortable and well presented.

Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Enjoyable and Comfortable

Pros: Room was well decorated with a modern but quaint feel. The products in the bathroom were excellent quality The food at breakfast and dinner, had a good choice and was very good. Staff were excellent, attentive and friendly

A lovely stay in an amazing hotel.

Pros: The hotel was well placed in the centre of Welshpool and was very comfortable. Our room was beautifully presented & spotlessly clean with lots of additional touches to make our stay more enjoyable. It had loads of storage & was lovely & warm. We were especially happy with en-suite bathroom which was possibly the best we’ve had. The staff were all very pleasant & well informed & the breakfast was amazing - lots of choice & lots of it.

Cons: There wasn’t anything about the property that we didn’t like.
