Pros: The room was perfect, very warm and the bed was very comfy

Timwarp historic Shropshire inn to stay in

Pros: Loved the location and history and time warp feel of the place and friendly welcome and staff It was very pleasant to be able to visit the Walcott Hall Arboretum next door up the long drive ..Liked the eclectic collection of pictures on the walls and their bookshelf of John Buchan novels and no tvs!

Cons: Bathrooms need updating..a bit battered and shabby..and our room above the kitchen although spacious comfortable warm , and airy when window open had lingering trace of cooking fat smell and I felt the carpet needed replacing..Also why couldn't we have cafetiere ground coffee for breakfast and means of boiling an egg and real yoghurt not sweet flavoured supermarket yoghurt for breakfast..I understand there were no staff to serve breakfast so it was left out for us in an upstairs dining room.and no paper napkins provided at the breakfast either..but these are not really much to complain of..

Good value for pub B&B

Pros: Lovely old country pub with some good walks around. Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable. Evening meal was delicious. Great complimentary breakfast.

Pros: Warm welcome and great location. Really quiet and peaceful. Rooms very comfortable and bright.

A hidden gem of a place with superb food

Pros: Oldyb worldly like Stepping back in time . Decor was in keeping with the place , we loved it .

Cons: The bed was a bit uncomfortable For me but I was suffering with a bad back but that was it everything else was great we will go back when we have time to go walking .

Wonderful place to stay and staff were very helpful and friendly. Hardworking. Food was exceptional.

Pros: Breakfast was superb and cooked to order. Plenty of choice and quality was excellent.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the 'vibe' was lovely. The cook at breakfast was especially attentive and fun to talk to, you could tell he enjoyed his job and talking to customers. In general the place had plenty of old world charm.

Cons: The bathroom could have done with a better clean.
