Just fabulous!

Pros: What a find! Idyllic, out-of-the-way retreat. Fantastic staff; generous and helpful. Delicious breakfast; best i've had in a hotel for many years.

Cons: There is nothing i would change about this place; it's just perfect.

A lovely place for a short stay

Pros: Lovely rooms, with very well equipped bathrooms. Great location in the countryside.

Cons: The food, whilst good, and well presented, was all very rich.

Very pretty, very quaint, remote.

Pros: We had a lovely room-a converted outhouse, comfortable and stylish. Perfectly clean.

Cons: Miles from anywhere. Narrow country lanes with very high hedges to negotiate to get there. Oddly unwelcoming attitude on checking in, a feeling of being ‘told off’ for not having made a dinner reservation despite our not knowing whether we wanted to make one then being told we could either eat at 6 or 8.30 and we had to choose which.
